The 5i has a flip out touch screen lcd screen wich if you shoot videos like I do then the flip out screen is a plus, the 5i also has self sensor cleaning and just a couple accessories built in, I've had this camera for about a month now and it has worked as good as my friends t5i that he used to let me borrow so from my alexperiance not much of a use difference but it's depends on what you will use it for it,
